Situated in the Glens of Antrim, this small meadow is the prime site in Ireland for wood cranesbill. Apart from Feystown, this beautiful wildflower has only been reported during the past decade from two sites, both in the Glens of Antrim. Other interesting plants include yellow rattle and a single record of greater butterfly orchid.
Access: The nature reserve is open to UWT members, but is best viewed from the roadside to avoid damage to the cranesbill.
Getting There: From Glenarm village take the minor road, signposted to Feystown, south for 3 miles.
Look out for: wood cranesbill, yellow rattle, greater butterfly orchid, silver-washed fritillary.
