Nature Reserves

Managing nature reserves for wildlife is one of four key areas of work for the Ulster Wildlife Trust, and we currently manage a network of 20 reserves across Northern Ireland. They are important places for wildlife – almost half of identified NI priority habitats are represented on our nature reserves, as well as 42 NI priority species. Collectively, they are home to 125 NI species of conservation concern.

Why not visit some of our nature reserves, where you can discover and learn more about wildlife for yourself. Click on the map below to find out more about our nature reserves. If you would like any more information, contact our Nature Reserves Team naturereserves@ulsterwildlifetrust.org
