Fundraise

Wildflower Meadow (c) Wildlife TrustsWildflower Meadow (c) Wildlife Trusts

The Ulster Wildlife Trust could not do the work we do without the support of the individuals who help to raise monies to fund our work.

Our fundraisers are brilliant!

Whatever your circumstances, if you have time to spare and the determination to do something to help Ulster Wildlife Trust, you can enjoy all the fun of fundraising by organising your own fundraising event or taking part in a fundraising event organised by someone else. Alternatively you may like to volunteer at one of the many fundraising collections we have each year in local stores, or you can do your bit at home by making use of recycling envelopes or home collection boxes.

Organise a Fundraising Event

Ballynahinch Branch of Ulster Bank present donation to UWT for 2012 Barn Owl CampaignMany individuals and groups organise their own fundraising events ‘in aid of’ the Ulster Wildlife Trust'. There are lots of fun ways to raise money, you can to do something you enjoy like a coffee morning, fancy dress party or charity disco with the monies you raise going to help local nature conservation. We will provide you with all the help we can to make your fundraising event a success.

Third-Party Fundraising Event

Gobins Wood (c) Amy LewisYou may like to take part in a fundraising event organised by a third-party (such as a marathon or trek) where you can choose to raise money for the Ulster Wildlife Trust through sponsored participation in the event. We will provide you with sponsorship forms and an Ulster Wildlife Trust T-Shirt and help in whatever way we can with your efforts. We will continue update list of forthcoming events as we become of them, see: What's On .

Fundraising Volunteer

Ulster Wildlife Trust collection bucketThe Ulster Wildlife Trust organises charity collections and bag packing events in local stores and supermarkets across the province on a regular basis - and we are always looking for volunteers over the age of 16 who can give an hour or two to help out. You do not need any previous experience of collecting and a member of our staff team supervises all collections. Please keep an eye on the What's On section of the website for details of forthcoming supermarket/store collections.

Recycling Envelopes

Phone in hand - recycle & raise funds for the Ulster Wildlife TrustOver 5 million mobile phones are thrown away in the UK each year. Mobile phones contain toxic substances and these phones often go to landfill. In addition there are over 80 million mobile phones lying redundant in drawers across the UK. Raise funds for the Ulster Wildlife Trust by recycling empty printer cartridges, mobile phones, PDA's, digital cameras, MP3 players and sat nav devices. To recycle your old printer cartridges, mobile phones, PDA’s, digital cameras, MP3 players and sat nav devices just contact us and we will send you a recycling envelope. Simply put your goods in the FREEPOST envelope and send them to our recycling partners Greensource Solutions who will recycle them and make a cash donation to the Ulster Wildlife Trust. Complete your contact details so you can receive replacement envelopes and pop the envelope in the post.

Donate _ 2012 Barn Owl Campaign

Donate to the 2012 Barn Owl Campaign. As little as £25 will fund the installation of a barn owl box, whilst a donation of £250 would fund a programme of community engagement in a barn owl 'hot spot'. Any level of donation is very gratefully received.
