Fermanagh LBAP Partnership Meeting & Biodiversity Box Building

The next Fermanagh LBAP Partnership meeting will take place on Saturday 27th September at 2:00pm at the Belleek and District Community Partnership, The Craft Village, Belleek. An update of the Fermanagh LBAP project will be provided, followed by a demonstration on how to construct biodiversity boxes for birds, bugs and bats.

Ancient Tree Hunt

A UK-wide search is on to determine the oldest fattest trees in the country. In August 2007 as part of the Fermanagh LBAP Partnership activity a guided walk through Ely Lodge took place to identify if such trees were present. Fermanagh LBAP Partnership

You can do your bit for Fermanagh’s biodiversity by joining the Fermanagh LBAP partnership.

The partnership meets twice yearly to discuss what’s happening within the district, and to help guide the LBAP in the right direction. It's a local partnership involving local people, who are ultimately the driving force in enhancing and maintaining biodiversity in the area.

You don’t have to be an expert to get involved, so if you're interested, please contact Fermanagh Biodiversity Officer on tel: 028 6632 5050 or email: emmamclaughlin2@ulsterwildlifetrust.org.
