Year of Action

Year of Action LogoThe Ulster Wildlife Trust turned 30 in September 2008. That’s 30 years of protecting and enhancing our wild landscapes and urban green spaces, to ensure we hand on a healthy environment to future generations.

We are celebrating our 30th anniversary with a ‘Year of Action’ campaign, calling on everyone in Northern Ireland to do one more thing for their local natural environment.

The campaign will run from September 2008 to September 2009 and will encourage everyone to take an action for wildlife and wild places. We need local people to help us in achieving our vision of a natural environment rich in wildlife, valued by everyone, so we’re offering a range of actions that businesses, landowners, local authorities, community groups, schools and individuals can take for our natural environment.

Make your choice here and let us know which action you are pledging to take to help local wildlife and wild places in our Year of Action! Click on the pages to the left to find out more about each action.
